No one was more shocked and surprised then Hot House VP and Creative Director Brent Smith who was inducted onto the Grabby Wall of Fame last Saturday night at the 2008 Grabby Awards! A few of us here at Hot House knew about the award, but somehow managed to keep it a secret! The highest of honors were awarded in recognition of Brent’s hard work running Hot House, specifically acknowledging Brent’s dedication to developing and defining the Hot House brand and managing the web development team to launch the Hot House Storefront 2.0, the Hot House Backroom, and the Club Inferno Dungeon.

The Men of Hot House gathered with staff and crew at the trendy Town Hall restaurant for the first annual presentation of the STAR Awards. Hot House President and Director Steven Scarborough created the STAR Awards, an acronym for Scarborough Thanks And Recognition, to reward the unsung heroes of his award-winning team and other outstanding friends and associates of his successful adult entertainment company.

The recipients of this year’s STAR Awards are as follows.

• FIERCE BITCH AWARD Inspired by his favorite expletive, Hot House VP and Creative Director Brent Smith brought the house down when he won his STAR Award in recognition of excellence for unparalleled creative direction.

• SUPERMODEL Hot House Lifetime Exclusive Alex Collack won the STAR Award recognizing his amazing abs and his extraordinary peformance in 13 movies since his debut in Skuff II in 2003.

• #1 FAN Dr. Jim McGhee took time off from his extensive work in HIV prevention to join Hot House all year long at several industry events, camera in hand! His dedication and true appreciation of the industry won him the STAR Award recognizing him as the industry’s #1 Fan!

• GOLDEN EYE AWARD Asserting that photographers are often overlooked at the usual industry award shows, Scarborough presented renown industry photographer Greg Lenzman the STAR Award for excellence in photography. Lenzman captures all of the action during video shoots and is generally considered the hardest working photographer in the business.

• NIP/TUCK AWARD Superstar video editor Jim Wigler received the STAR Award for 10 years of service and excellence in video editing. Jim has expertly cut almost every movie ever produced by Hot House Entertainment!

• BEST STAGE HUSBAND Concluding the list of STAR Awards was a very special presentation to Lloyd North, partner to Kent North and longtime Hot House friend. Lloyd was given this special STAR Award Recognizing his steady commitment to Hot House as well as his cameo roll as Warren Lord in The Missing.

Hot House Entertainment, Inc. today unveiled the company’s schedule of events during San Francisco’s 23rd annual Folsom Street Fair, the world’s largest leather / fetish event.

The booth will be directly in front of the Powerhouse bar at Folsom and Dore.
