You may remember Matt Cole from his over-the-top performances in Hot House hits including At Your Service, Trunks 2, or Private Lowlife, just to name a few ( he starred in seven titles total.)  His Hollywood good looks, hefty cock, and big juicy butt, made him a fan- and industry-favorite, winning him both the GayVN and GRABBY Best New Comer Award in 2007. Then suddenly that same year, at the height of his career, the 6 foot stud left the business, leaving fans begging for more. That’s why when Matt called Hot House President and Director Steven Scarborough expressing an interest in returning to Hot House Steven said “Welcome home!”

As it turns out, Matt’s timing couldn’t be better; he called on the very day that we were casting Trunks 6. As soon as he told us that he’s spent the past five years doing personal training and packing on more muscle we knew that he had to star in the movie, and the rest, as they say, is history. Matt returns to Hot House and heads to Palm Springs this week where he and Hot House Exclusive Kyle King will host a very special edition of Backroom Live – a poolside orgy with some of the hunks from the new Trunks 6! This epic event happens on Monday, May 2, at 6 PM PDT (an hour earlier than our usual live shows – make a note of it.)

Since the day we signed him, news of Matt’s return has spread like wildfire. The internet and blogosphere has blown up with interviews and photos. Gay Chicago Magazine released the 2007 Grabby nominations and Hot House was honored to receive 28 nominations in 21 categories, more than any other studio! The annual award show has become one of the most popular and respected events honoring top video companies and gay video stars. Gay Chicago Magazine and the Grabby Awards are the creation of the late great Ralph Gernhardt, affectionately known as “Big Daddy Ferguson.” Daddy Ferguson was a pioneer and champion of the adult industry who passed away last year. His loyal support and enthusiasm will be greatly missed, but his spirit lives on through his good works.

Hot House looks forward to returning to Chicago every year for the world’s biggest leather event, International Mr. Leather (IML) and the ensuing Grabby Awards. Thanks to our friends at Gay Chicago Magazine for making this year even sweeter with 28 nominations!

The W Hotel was jampacked with industry stars, webmasters and studio heads for the Gay Summit Kickoff Party hosted by Maleflixxx. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of awards for the biggest titles of the year on the Maleflixxx network. Hot House Video received the highest honors with two titles in the top ten for 2006. Trunks 2 and Justice (nominated for 12 GAYVN Awards including Best Picture) both held the #1 position on Maleflixxx.net for months, making Hot House the only studio to receive two of the coveted awards! Guests were extremely impressed with the Awards themselves. Kudos to Maleflixxx for their classy framed awards and thanks to all of you who logged in and watched Hot House Videos across the Maleflixxx network!

Trunks 2 claimed the Most Watched Video of the Year Award in the Maleflixxx Gold VOD Awards which were announced yesterday. In addition, the GAYVN nominated film Justice earned the #4 spot for Most Watched Video of the Year despite its October release date on the network. Both movies dominated the #1 position in the Most Watched and Highest Rated Top 10 charts for months after their release.

In recognition of this outstanding achievement, Hot House will be presented with two Maleflixxx Gold VOD Awards to be presented to the Top 10 winners of 2006 on Thursday, February 22nd at the GAYVN Summit Welcome Party In San Francisco. The event will be held at the W Hotel from 7 – 9 PM.
