It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Arpad Miklos who passed away on Saturday, February 2. The 6′ 3″ towering Hungarian hunk made his Hot House debut in 2003′s award-winning leather hit Skuff II. He went on to become one of the most iconic Men Of Hot House starring in 11 movies including the cutting-edge collaborative video Manhunt.TheMovie and the panoramic outdoor epic The Road To Temptation. Arpad returned to star in Skuff 3: Downright Wrong, (Best Leather Video 2005) and as a bull-headed horny drill sergeant in Private Lowlife (2006). Arpad’s final project with Hot House was in 2009 when he paired up with Hot House Exclusive Craig Reynolds to star in Loading Zone. Throughout his career Arpad starred in over 80 movies and was one of the industry’s most reliable, friendly and professional stars. His soft-spoken demeanor and charm were quite the contrast to his hulk-like frame and powerful sexual prowess. He was truly a gentle giant and he will be missed by all. Our hearts go out to Arpad’s fans, friends and family.

You may remember Matt Cole from his over-the-top performances in Hot House hits including At Your Service, Trunks 2, or Private Lowlife, just to name a few ( he starred in seven titles total.)  His Hollywood good looks, hefty cock, and big juicy butt, made him a fan- and industry-favorite, winning him both the GayVN and GRABBY Best New Comer Award in 2007. Then suddenly that same year, at the height of his career, the 6 foot stud left the business, leaving fans begging for more. That’s why when Matt called Hot House President and Director Steven Scarborough expressing an interest in returning to Hot House Steven said “Welcome home!”

As it turns out, Matt’s timing couldn’t be better; he called on the very day that we were casting Trunks 6. As soon as he told us that he’s spent the past five years doing personal training and packing on more muscle we knew that he had to star in the movie, and the rest, as they say, is history. Matt returns to Hot House and heads to Palm Springs this week where he and Hot House Exclusive Kyle King will host a very special edition of Backroom Live – a poolside orgy with some of the hunks from the new Trunks 6! This epic event happens on Monday, May 2, at 6 PM PDT (an hour earlier than our usual live shows – make a note of it.)

Since the day we signed him, news of Matt’s return has spread like wildfire. The internet and blogosphere has blown up with interviews and photos. The gang at Gay Chicago Magazine found several Hot House movies and stars worthy of praise this year with Verboten 1 & 2 snagging the most nominations including Best Video, Best All-Sex Video, Best Fetish Video, Best Leather Video, and Best Director for Steven Scarborough. Other notable nominees include Communion, Private Lowlife, Jockstrap, Knuckle Sandwich & Slam Dunk. Individual model nominees being honored include Exclusives C.J. Knight (Best Newcomer & Hottest Bottom); Francesco D’Macho & Vinnie D’Angelo (Best Performer); Alex Collack & Francesco D’Macho (Best Versatile Performer); and Mike Roberts (Best Solo Sex Scene: Jockstrap).

The European Gay Porn Awards (EPGA) has honored Hot House with 18 nominations this year! 11 of the nomiations go to the leather epic Communion, including Best Overall Film and Best Director! Hot House Exclusive Francesco D’Macho earned three noms, including Best Newcomer and Best Actor for his role in Private Lowlife! Vinnie D’Angelo snagged two noms, one for best solo ( Tough Stuff) and Best Top ( Communion).
