Hot House Entertainment’s Paging Dr. Finger leads the long list of Grabby Award Nominations with 6 noms including Best Movie, Best Comedy Video, Best Group Scene, Best Art Direction and Best Box Cover!   Wood Work and Trunks 5 received 2 each with Head Hunters and King Size following close behind with 1 each.  Club Inferno grabbed 2 noms for Best Fetish Extreme Video with Fisting Network and Red Hanky while Hot House Exclusive Kyle King received the most out of all exclusives with a combined 5 nominations for Best Cum Scene, Best Solo Sex Scene, Best Three-Way, Best Rimming Scene, Best Three-Way Sex Scene and Best Newcomer.  Other notable nominations for our Exclusives includes Hottest Cock & Best Newcomer for Ethan Wolfe, Best Versatile Performer & Best Duo Sex Scene for Ross Hurston and scene partner Ty LeBeouf.

The 18th Annual Grabby Awards presentation ceremony will occur at the Park West Theatre during “Grabby Weekend,” an annual Memorial Day celebration that brings together the Grabbys, the International Mr. Leather competition and Bear Pride.  Proceeds from many of the weekend’s events benefit Test Positive Aware Network, which raises money for HIV testing and education.

Hot House Entertainment snags 19 GAYVN Award Nominations. The majority of the noms are for the Hot House hits Verboten 1 & 2 and Paging Dr. Finger with other nods for Trunks 5, King Size and Stark Naked. Hot House Exclusives Ross Hurston (Best Actor/Best Newcomer), Francesco D’Macho (Best Web Performer/Best cumshot), Kyle King (Best Newcomer/Best Solo Performance) and Johnny Gunn (Best Supporting Actor) and Backroom Exclusive Luke Cassidy (Best Web Performer) were also recognized. Hot House Founder Steven Scarborough garnered a well deserved Best Director nod for his two part leather epic Verboten 1 & 2. Hot on the heels of the Cybersocket Award for Best Studio Website, HotHouse.com also earned a nomination for Best Site Of The Year! The winners will be announced March 28 in a gala awards ceremony at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco. The 11th annual GAYVN Awards Show is dedicated to recognizing outstanding movies and talented individuals who have contributed to the advancement of the gay adult entertainment industry. Its broad-based, nation-wide panel of judges, predominantly gay-press-affiliated, has been awarding trophies for 21 years, making the GAYVN Awards the most respected and recognized awards in gay adult entertainment history. This year’s award show is sure to top that of the much talked about Kathy Griffin hosted event two years ago. The buzz being stired is mostly due to the three new celebrity hosts: Margaret Cho, Alec Mappa and the world’s first supermodel Janice Dickinson.

Hot House proudly earned three huge nominations for this year’s 2009 XBiz Awards, including GLBT Studio Of The Year! The highest honor goes to Hot House President and Director Steven Scarborough who won the nomination for GLBT Director Of The Year. Our unforgettably named ER-themed hit Paging Dr. Finger won the nomination for GLBT Movie Of The Year. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the nominations. Hot House Exclusive Ethan Wolfe has been added to the roster of celebrities scheduled to appear at Club Papi ( Space 550 Barneveld) in San Francisco this Saturday, September 27th from 11:30pm to 1:30am.  Ethan will be available for pictures and autographs and maybe a dance or two.  This will be the last opportunity to meet one of The Men Of Hot House Exclusives during The 25th Anniversary Of The San Francisco Folsom Street Fair Weekend.  Keep in mind that there will be an earlier signing that same day with Ethan, Johnny Gunn and Kai Ford at the Castro Gulch from 1pm to 3pm.  Both Johnny and Kai will be signing new DVD copies of their Palm Springs poolside release Trunks 5!  Have fun and we hope to see you this weekend.
