The Men Of Hot House are preparing to take over the IML Leather Mart this coming Memorial Day Weekend as part of the line-up of stars at this year’s
International Mr. Leather (IML) Competition in Chicago. Hot House Exclusives Francesco D’Macho, Ty LeBeouf, Johnny Gunn and Ross Hurston will be on hand at the Hot House booth to sign autographs, chat with fans, and administer lashings to anyone misbehaving (and who won’t be?) The Men will also be appearing at the Grabby Awards on Saturday night where Hot House has a whopping 26 nominations.
Hot House will partner again with
Manhunt.net at this year’s leather mart with the largest presence of any major studio. Brent Smith, Hot House VP and Creative Director, affirms “The industry has had to make some difficult cuts in promotional budgets this year due to the economic downturn. Missing IML was simply not an option – our fans have come to expect this opportunity to hang with our Exclusives; and we love the opportunity to talk with them at length and get a sense of how we’re doing.”
Fans attending the IML Leather Market at Chicago’s Hyatt Regency Hotel will find The Men Of Hot House at booth #951-955 from Friday, May 23 through Sunday, May 25, between 1-5 pm. As usual, The Men will give away free Showcase DVDs and autographed model cards and directors Steven Scarborough, Robert Drake, and Gabriel Cortes will be on hand to take your questions and special requests. Special pricing will be available all weekend long on Hot House DVDs, including new releases like Paging Dr. Finger and Red Hanky.
Gay Chicago Magazine, producer of the Grabby Awards, will inaugurate a new tradition this year with a “Welcome To Chicago Party” on Thursday, May 22 hosted in conjunction with Hot House. Each year Gay Chicago plans to have this party hosted by the studio that won Best Picture the year before (Justice was the Best Picture winner at the 2007 Grabby Awards.) The event will be at
Spin (800 W. Belmont in the heart of Boystown) between 7pm and 9pm. Join Ross Hurston and Francesco D’Macho, the 2007 Grabby winner for Best Versatile Performer, for an evening that will include raffles, porn giveaways and plenty of skin. Attendees must be 21 with valid photo I.D. to enter.
On Saturday night May 24, Chi Chi LaRue and Honey West will host the 2008 Grabby Awards at the Park West Theater. Ross Hurston will join Aaron James, Blake Riley, and Ricky Parks onstage as trophy studs, presenting winners with the coveted awards, while Ty LeBeouf is slated to introduce Verboten, the Hot House nominee for 2008 Best Video. The Grabbys are open to the public; fans interested in tickets can visit the official
Grabbys website for details.
