Hot House Entertainment walked away the big winner at the 2007 Grabby Awards this weekend with 8 trophies, including the coveted Best Video award for Justice. The epic production was recognized by the Grabby judges in all of the major categories, including Best Video, Best Director (Steven Scarborough), Best Actor (Shane Rollins), Best Duo Sex Scene (Shane Rollins and Trevor Knight), and the Maleflixxx.tv People’s Choice Award.

Hot House Exclusive Kent North also won Best Solo Performance for his jawbreaking dildo scene in At Your Service and Hot House Exclusive Francesco D’Macho earned the Best Versatile Performer trophy.

The Hot House leather masterpiece Black –N- Blue took the Best Leather Video award again, repeating its Best Leather Video win at the 2007 GAYVN Awards earlier this year (where it also earned Best All-Sex Video.)

The Grabby Awards, presented each year by Gay Chicago Magazine, were held on Saturday May 26 in Chicago and were hosted by Honey West, Chi Chi Larue, Kent North, Johnny Hazzard, and Matthew Rush. Francesco D’Macho delighted the sold-out audience as one of 4 scantily clad Trophy Studs, dressed only in tight graphic underwear donated by designer-of-the-moment Andrew Christian. D’Macho’s underwear went on to earn $1,000 at the post-Grabby charity auction – the highest amount raised that evening by a single porn personality.

Gay Chicago Magazine announced last week that Lifetime Exclusive Kent North will co-host this year’s Grabby Awards. Held in Chicago over Memorial Day Weekend, the premiere award show will also feature Falcon Studio’s Matthew Rush and Rascal Video’s Johnny Hazzard in the co-host positions.

The Grabby Awards are Gay Chicago’s nod to outstanding movies, performers and studios in the gay adult industry and has quickly become one of the most coveted trophies in the biz.

Good looks were only part of the criterion for selection as a host – these men were also chosen for the time they’ve worked in the industry, their stage presence, and their poise under intense, ahem, pressure.
