Surrounded by the most wanted men in porn Hot House President Steven Scarborough poses with the men that make Hot House hotter than hell!

The Hot House GayVN pre-party at Activate was THE hottest kick-off celebration in the Castro last Friday night.  Everybody who was anyone followed the search lights to Lookout, including luminaries from the adult industry, mainstream media and celebrities, local drag superstars, and literally thousands of fans!  The line to get into the club wrapped around the block as party-goers waited patiently for the packed venue to allow passage so they could rub elbows with the likes of Hot House Exclusives Ross Hurston, Kyle King, Ty LeBeouf, Vince Ferelli, Johnny Gunn, Paul Wagner and Ethan Wolfe.  Gay Adult Film historian and industry insider Mickey Skee complimented the party saying “We intended to hit all the studio parties but we were just having so much fun that we decided to stay here all night!” Skee went on to say that no matter what party they attended “Steven Scarborough kept coming up as people’s favorite Director.” Past Hot House star and Channel One Director Doug Jeffries said “This is the party of the year!” Hot House Pres Steven Scarborough and VP Brent Smith were seen beaming from ear-to-ear. Party hostess Sister Roma shouted over the crowd, “This is just what we wanted, the BIGGEST party in the Castro…I’m so happy!” Industry veteran and co-host Michael Youens had this to report, “I was working the door and the guest list caught on fire during the party!  The scorched list gives new meaning to the saying ‘On-Fire!’ because that is exactly what this party is . . . ON FIRE!”

Exclusive Ross Hurston next to Kent North’s artwork at Magnet in the Castro

As many of you know Hot House Exclusive Kent North passed away late last year leaving behind a stellar legacy. Many of you might be surprised to know that he was also a professional behind the camera as well. One of North’s most inspiring pieces of work is The Mechanics Monument, a photo he shot while visiting San Francisco. His surviving partner Lloyd recently released 15 limited edition prints of the photo for sale with proceeds directly benefiting North’s favorite charity, the St. Stephen’s AIDS Trust in London.

The Mechanics Monument is one of the few San Francisco sculptures to survive the earthquake of 1906 and has become a symbol of empowerment and hope to the city’s citizens since its unveiling on May 15, 1901. The 26″ x 21″ work is one of 4 original pieces shot by North that were recently presented in exhibition in London.
