For those of you in the SF Bay Area looking for a night of beauty, charm, and polite chatter, you may want to skip coming to the 1st Annual Deviant Contest being held at Truck (1900 Folsom @ 15th.) This edgy, hip, SOMA gay watering hole promises to bring a new twist to the traditional International Mr. Leather preliminaries; the winner of tonight’s contest will be sent to the 2008 IML competition in Chicago this Memorial Day Weekend. With judges like Hot House Brent, Julian Marshburn (Mr. SF Leather 2004), and Heklina (blue-ribbon deviants each) you can be sure the contestants will be submitted to a very rigorous screening process to clinch the title. The event starts at 9PM tonight and will be hosted by Sister Roma (who promises that Hot House Exclusives Ross Hurston and Kyle King will be “arm candy”!)
