We’re heading to Chicago this week for the 2010 Grabby Awards. Hot House has received an astounding 23 nods in recognition of outstanding achievements in almost every category from movies to the web to our staff, crew, and men! Special kudos go out to Hot House President and Director Steven Scarborough for his Best Director Nomination ( Skuff 4) and to Hot House Exclusive Kyle King, nominated for Performer Of The Year and Hot House Exclusive Vince Ferelli for his 3 nominations including Best Supporting Actor, Hottest Bottom and Best Newcomer! Hot House Entertainment received three awards: Best Director (U.S.): Steven Scarborough, Skuff 4: Downright Fierce (Hot House) • Best Group Scene (U.S.): Wood Work (Hot House) • Best Film (U.S.): Skuff 4: Downright Fierce (Hot House) for the first-ever HustlaBall Awards in Berlin.  The winners were announced Saturday during a gala ceremony that took place during HustlaBall Berlin.

From a field of 75 nominated films, seven individuals were singled out for awards. In addition, nine product-related awards and one website award were presented. Two long-time industry denizens were singled out for special honors: Jean Daniel Cadinot accepted the special award for Lifetime Achievement and director-producer Marcel Bruckmann received the Honorary Award for his 10 years of dedication to the gay adult video industry.  Hot House continues to set the standard for high quality gay adult entertainment and recognition of our hard work and attention to detail is always welcome.  Stay tuned for more award winning production currently in the works through the studio who brings you the men and sex you want to see.

The 18th Annual Grabby Awards presentation ceremony will occur at the Park West Theatre during “Grabby Weekend,” an annual Memorial Day celebration that brings together the Grabbys, the International Mr. Leather competition and Bear Pride.  Proceeds from many of the weekend’s events benefit Test Positive Aware Network, which raises money for HIV testing and education.

Hot House Entertainment snags 19 GAYVN Award Nominations. The majority of the noms are for the Hot House hits Verboten 1 & 2 and Paging Dr. Finger with other nods for Trunks 5, King Size and Stark Naked. Hot House Exclusives Ross Hurston (Best Actor/Best Newcomer), Francesco D’Macho (Best Web Performer/Best cumshot), Kyle King (Best Newcomer/Best Solo Performance) and Johnny Gunn (Best Supporting Actor) and Backroom Exclusive Luke Cassidy (Best Web Performer) were also recognized. Hot House Founder Steven Scarborough garnered a well deserved Best Director nod for his two part leather epic Verboten 1 & 2. Hot on the heels of the Cybersocket Award for Best Studio Website, HotHouse.com also earned a nomination for Best Site Of The Year! The winners will be announced March 28 in a gala awards ceremony at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco. The 11th annual GAYVN Awards Show is dedicated to recognizing outstanding movies and talented individuals who have contributed to the advancement of the gay adult entertainment industry. Its broad-based, nation-wide panel of judges, predominantly gay-press-affiliated, has been awarding trophies for 21 years, making the GAYVN Awards the most respected and recognized awards in gay adult entertainment history. This year’s award show is sure to top that of the much talked about Kathy Griffin hosted event two years ago. The buzz being stired is mostly due to the three new celebrity hosts: Margaret Cho, Alec Mappa and the world’s first supermodel Janice Dickinson.
