Both HotHouse.com (Best Video Company Site) and Hot House Exclusive Francesco D’Macho (Best Blog, Best New Site & Best Porn Star) have been nominated. The W Hotel was jampacked with industry stars, webmasters and studio heads for the Gay Summit Kickoff Party hosted by Maleflixxx. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of awards for the biggest titles of the year on the Maleflixxx network. Hot House Video received the highest honors with two titles in the top ten for 2006. Trunks 2 and Justice (nominated for 12 GAYVN Awards including Best Picture) both held the #1 position on Maleflixxx.net for months, making Hot House the only studio to receive two of the coveted awards! Guests were extremely impressed with the Awards themselves. Chalk up another major win for Hot House and our own AVN Hall of Fame Director Steven Scarborough! At last week’s 14th Barcelona International Erotic Film Festival (FICEB), Steven won the Best Director category for his powerful and dark direction of The Missing from Hot House Video. One of Scarborough’s darkest and most intense movies, The Missing has already been honored twice this year as Best Leather Movie, both at the 2006 GAYVNs and Grabby Awards.

Hot House Exclusive Francesco D’Macho was in the audience at the awards ceremony, heard Steven’s name announced as the winner, and wrote us an email to congratulate Steven on the win. However, there seems to be a bit of controversy with Colt Studios around who the actual winner was. I noticed on last Wednesday that the Colt blog claimed Kristofer Weston won Best Director.
