Hot House Entertainment received three awards: Best Director (U.S.): Steven Scarborough, Skuff 4: Downright Fierce (Hot House) • Best Group Scene (U.S.): Wood Work (Hot House) • Best Film (U.S.): Skuff 4: Downright Fierce (Hot House) for the first-ever HustlaBall Awards in Berlin.  The winners were announced Saturday during a gala ceremony that took place during HustlaBall Berlin.

From a field of 75 nominated films, seven individuals were singled out for awards. In addition, nine product-related awards and one website award were presented. Two long-time industry denizens were singled out for special honors: Jean Daniel Cadinot accepted the special award for Lifetime Achievement and director-producer Marcel Bruckmann received the Honorary Award for his 10 years of dedication to the gay adult video industry.  Hot House continues to set the standard for high quality gay adult entertainment and recognition of our hard work and attention to detail is always welcome.  Stay tuned for more award winning production currently in the works through the studio who brings you the men and sex you want to see.

Join Hot House President and Director Steven Scarborough and author Jeffrey Escoffier for a one-night event entitled “ Bigger Than Life:  The Porn Capital of America” on Thursday, September 17 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Historical Society ( GLBTHS), located at 657 Mission Street #300 in San Francisco.

The GLBT Historical Society invites the community to join Scarborough, recognized as “one of gay porn’s great directors who helped establish its economic foundations” and Escoffier, author of Bigger Than Life:  The History of Gay Porn Cinema from Beefcake to Hardcore, as well as other adult directors and performers who helped to shape the gay porn industry over the last four decades for a video show of the highlights of San Francisco erotic film-making, followed by a discussion and question and answers.  The GLBT Historical Society’s “Bigger Than Life:  The Porn Capital of America” event will help to shed light on the importance of early gay porn and what it took to create the industry as an important genre of gay male popular culture.
