Has Zach Sire of The Sword Gone Too Far (South)?
Zach Sire, blogger and editor of TheSword.com, has moved to Los Angeles – but has he gone too far? Apparently since moving down to the land of beautiful people he’s become one. Has Sire forgotten his San Francisco edge and turned into a WeHo dolly? It would appear that he can no longer differentiate between hot men in fetish gear and posers on Santa Monica Boulevard playing dress up. Recently Sire has gone off the deep end ranting about leather movies featuring men in gas masks, cuffs, and harnesses. (Duh – have you ever seen a leather movie?) In a December blog post on The Sword Sire asks his readers: “ Hot or Not: Costumes In Gay Porn.” He goes on to declare that Tate Ryder is “wearing a Hannibal Lecter face mask” and claims that rugged studs Jake Genesis and Derek Parker are wearing “leather bracelets and belts.” It sounds to us like someone needs to get out of the Beverly Hills boutiques and back to SOMA where he belongs. Hey Zach, if you do move back to SF and are looking for work we need someone to clean our toilets. Don’t worry, we have a gas mask you can wear.
