The W Hotel was jampacked with industry stars, webmasters and studio heads for the Gay Summit Kickoff Party hosted by Maleflixxx. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of awards for the biggest titles of the year on the Maleflixxx network. Hot House Video received the highest honors with two titles in the top ten for 2006. Trunks 2 and Justice (nominated for 12 GAYVN Awards including Best Picture) both held the #1 position on Maleflixxx.net for months, making Hot House the only studio to receive two of the coveted awards! Guests were extremely impressed with the Awards themselves. Gay Chicago Magazine announced last week that Lifetime Exclusive Kent North will co-host this year’s Grabby Awards. Held in Chicago over Memorial Day Weekend, the premiere award show will also feature Falcon Studio’s Matthew Rush and Rascal Video’s Johnny Hazzard in the co-host positions.
