The 13th Annual Hard Choice Awards announced today that Steven Scarborough had been named Best Director for his body of work in 2006! The annual list is put out by X-Factor Magazine, a gay publication based out of Phoenix Arizona, and is the third longest-running award showcase in the gay adult industry.

“While on the subject of directors,” said Onan the Vulgarian, “I have to say that Hot House’s Steven Scarborough reinvented himself in 2006. From seemingly effortless but erotically flawless vanilla masterpieces to complex and serious themes to no-hold barred nastiness, he surprised me again and again, showing not just versatility but the bold confidence of a director who knows what he wants to deliver and is at the peak of his professional powers to do it.”

Hot House titles popped up again and again throughout the list, showcasing yet again what a fantastic year we’ve had. The Best Sex Award went to Superstar Shane Rollins and Trevor Knight for their jailhouse fuckfest in Justice and Lifetime Exclusive Kent North won Best Solo for his scorching dildo performance in Scene 5 of At Your Service. Rock Hard also picked up a Best Music Award for his moving soundtrack for Justice. Other honorable mentions went to Black -N- Blue, Trunks 2, and of course, the world-class lineup of Hot House Men.
